## Outline * Two small projects funded by our Research Culture budget. <img src="https://media.giphy.com/media/3o7aTskHEUdgCQAXde/giphy.gif" width="600px" style="display: block; margin: auto;" /> --- ## Project I : Identifying 'influential' OA authors * Not great at tracking -- Goal: Find out who publishes OA and collaborates a lot with other authors at Northumbria. -- * Bibliometrics project. -- * Started with Scopus, moving to other databases (e.g., WoS). -- * Side project: Find out if we are in the 'PLoS database' and see how we did. <img src="https://media.giphy.com/media/7VzgMsB6FLCilwS30v/giphy-downsized-large.gif" width="300px" style="display: block; margin: auto;" /> --- ## Project II : OA practices and internal REF scoring. * Goal: identifying if OA practices are used and if they are weighed in our internal REF 'mock' exercise. -- * 2022 returns for two departments: Psychology and applied sciences. Rated by two reviewers. -- * Coding based on: Norris E, Sulevani I, Finnerty AN, et al.
