## Outline

* Two small projects funded by our Research Culture budget.

## Project I : Identifying 'influential' OA authors

* Not great at tracking

Goal: Find out who publishes OA and collaborates a lot with other authors at Northumbria.

* Bibliometrics project.

* Started with Scopus, moving to other databases (e.g., WoS).

* Side project: Find out if we are in the 'PLoS database' and see how we did.

## Project II : OA practices and internal REF scoring.

* Goal: identifying if OA practices are used and if they are weighed in our internal REF 'mock' exercise.

* 2022 returns for two departments: Psychology and applied sciences. Rated by two reviewers.

* Coding based on: Norris E, Sulevani I, Finnerty AN, et al. Assessing Open Science practices in physical activity behaviour change intervention evaluations. _BMJ Open Sport & Exercise Medicine_ 2022;8:e001282. doi: 10.1136/bmjsem-2021-001282 -- with some minor tweaks... .
